Last weekend we visited Blue Ribbon Pines in East Bethel, MN. I am really impressed by this course! The first part of the course has concrete or tees like you see here on hole number one. Later in the course there aren’t as many concrete tees but there is evidence that they are adding more and continuing to upgrade the course.
Blue Ribbon Pines is well laid out, Timmy Gill and Steve Beckman did a great job in designing this course. There are some great holes that challenge the technical side of your game as well as more open holes where you can put everything behind the disc. Hole #4 just about blew my brain… its a crazy straight shot through an alley of 100 foot tall pine trees. Pictures don’t do it justice… standing on the tee you can hear the trees laugh at your pitiful attempts to get near the basket.
The course was a blast to play and I plan on going back soon!
